She was the first British woman to achieve a global 100 metres title, having won gold at the 2007 IAAF World Youth Championships aged 16. She took gold in the junior (15–16 years old) girls category in the World Age Competition in Eindhoven, Netherlands, but suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury representing Great Britain at the senior World Championships in Canada which halted her sporting career for three years. Following a long rehabilitation, Philip returned to elite sport, dedicating herself to elite athletics.〔(Philip gives athletics another shot )〕 On her return, she formed part of the Great Britain sprint relay team that won gold in the 4 x 100 metres at the 2014 European Athletics Championships, and 4 x 200 metre silver at the 2014 IAAF World Relays. In the same year, representing England, she formed part of the bronze medal winning 4 x 100 metres relay team at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and finishing fourth in the individual event. ==Early life== Born in Leyton, east London, she had competed in double mini trampoline since aged 4. After winning the World Youth gold, she ruptured the cruciate ligament in her right knee competing in the GB team event at the double-mini Trampoline World Championships in Quebec, Canada. This ruled her out of competing at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Asha graduated from Kingston University in 2012, with a degree in BA(Hons)Drama.〔()〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Asha Philip」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
